On February 9, 2015 the dedicated members of our organization United Against Systemic Racism marched to show the people of Seattle that Black Lives Matter despite only having five people participate in their march. We will continue to march every Tuesday as more people join the movement to end systemic racism the the Seattle area and beyond.

On February 10, 2015 residents of the Seattle area and beyond marched to bring light to the oppression that black trans* people face and to highlight the five black trans* women who had been murdered up to that point. The action was organized by United Against Systemic Racism. #BlackLivesMatter #BlackTransLivesMatter #UASRseattle

On March 21 two trans* members of United Against Systemic Racism disrupted two stores, one hotel and traffic for #BlackShutdown to show that we will fight to end racism by Any Means Necessary. During the end of the protest the two members were forcibly detained by police officers who pushed them up against the side of building after the organizers got onto the sidewalk. This documentary highlights that day. #BlackLivesMatter
